Fall Farmers Market Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 bunch celery
  • 4 large cloves fresh garlic
  • 1 small cabbage
  • 1 bunch carrots
  • 1 bunch Swiss chard
  • 2 cups cubed cooked pork
  • 1 quart homemade beef broth
  • 1/2 cups red wine
  • 4 tbsp coconut aminos
  • to taste hot (charapita) or favorite chili pepper
  • 1-2 large fresh stems of rosemary & oregano
  • 2-3 tsp salt to taste

Instructions

  • Chop and cook onion, celery, and fresh garlic in 3 tbsp of lard until tender
  • Combine remaining ingredients and simmer for a couple of hours or more on low heat
  • Garnish with cheese as desired
